Broken Bay Yacht Charters runs private, fully skippered charters from Palm Beach on two 38ft Seawind 1160 sailing catamarans, Tabasco and Salsa, each taking up to 28 guests. Guests usually meet at Palm Beach Wharf and are taken out by tender, and Newport pick-ups can be arranged. From there the boats cruise Pittwater, Broken Bay, Cowan Creek and the Hawkesbury River.
Options include a three-hour afternoon charter, a 4.5-hour celebration charter, a 5.5-hour Signature Day further up the waterways, and three-hour sunset cruises in daylight-saving months. From June to November there's offshore whale watching for up to 10 guests per boat. Charters include crew, fridges and eskies, a Bluetooth speaker and floating swim platforms, and you can bring your own food or order catering. The same team trades from Hardys Bay as Sail Central Coast, which also offers overnight sail-and-stay trips.
It suits birthdays, hens and bucks parties, families and corporate groups wanting a sheltered day on the water. Pricing is tiered by group size, and routes depend on the weather.
