The people and the purpose
It started with a dream to go sailing.
We’re Gabriel and Kristy, a couple working towards a simple dream: buy a sailing yacht, move aboard and see where the wind takes us. Australia first, then the Pacific — and, hopefully, further.
As we started learning and researching, we found useful information scattered everywhere: sailing schools, clubs, marinas, brokers, marine services and equipment. We wanted one place that helped us connect it all. We couldn’t find it, so we started building it.
That’s why this network exists. YouSail brings the bigger picture together; each specialist website explores one part of the journey in more detail. We’re learning too, and building the resource we wish we’d had at the start.
Our aim is to connect the people who sail, the people who want to sail, and the people and businesses that make sailing possible.
