Guests can walk Whitehaven Beach’s pure silica sands, take in the famous patterns from Hill Inlet Lookout and snorkel fringing reefs around island bays selected by the crew. Avatar welcomes up to 26 guests with three crew, creating an easygoing shared experience. Accommodation is open dormitory-style with shared singles and doubles. Spank Me is an 82-foot former racing yacht with an extraordinary past and a joyful new life exploring the Whitsundays. Launched as Drumbeat in Fremantle in 1989, she won that year’s Sydney to Hobart before racing internationally. Today, her size, speed and character create an unforgettable two-day, two-night adventure from Airlie Beach.

The journey captures the Whitsundays at their most spectacular. Guests can step onto Whitehaven Beach’s white silica sands, admire Hill Inlet’s swirling turquoise patterns and snorkel colourful fringing reefs alive with coral, tropical fish and turtles. On passage, there is the chance to help hoist the sails and feel the power of a maxi yacht, or relax on deck with island views.

Up to 27 guests travel with three friendly crew, giving Spank Me a lively, social spirit. Shared single and double accommodation keeps the experience communal, while freshly prepared meals, linen, snorkelling gear, stinger suits and local fees are included.
