Allegra is Sydney By Sail’s most characterful Hunter 36, blending traditional yacht warmth with the comfort and practical features that make a private harbour charter feel instantly welcoming. With room for up to 12 guests plus skipper, she is a favourite for family outings, hands-on sailing and relaxed celebrations with friends.

The large cockpit is a natural gathering place, shaded by a generous bimini and arranged around a substantial table with its own ice chest. There is room to dine, talk and admire Sydney’s landmarks while the skipper guides Allegra across the harbour. Her new sails, furling headsail and full-battened mainsail also make her an inviting yacht for guests who want to participate and experience the pleasure of sailing firsthand.

At anchor, the broad swim platform lowers the group closer to the water, making a secluded bay perfect for a refreshing dip. A hot-and-cold cockpit shower is ready afterwards, and outdoor speakers keep the atmosphere flowing from sailing to swimming and lunch.

Below deck, American cruising-yacht design creates a homely and light-filled interior. Two cabins and the saloon provide sleeping space for six, while the large dining table offers plenty of room to gather. The L-shaped galley includes generous preparation space, double sinks, a front-opening refrigerator, stove and oven. A bathroom with shower, entertainment system and excellent ventilation complete the comfortable package.

Reliable, friendly and full of personality, Allegra suits guests who want Sydney Harbour to feel personal rather than staged. She offers classic sailing, relaxed hospitality and all the ingredients for a day that unfolds at exactly the right pace.

Designed for up to 12 guests plus skipper, she is a magnificent choice for celebrations, corporate entertaining and private days with family or friends.

The cockpit ice box keeps refreshments close, elegant oak platters are ready for shared food, and the fully equipped galley includes a front-opening refrigerator, stove, oven, crockery and cutlery. Tea, coffee and useful pantry essentials add the feeling that the yacht is prepared for a genuinely enjoyable day rather than simply a scenic cruise.

Twin rudders provide assured handling even as the breeze builds, while the full-battened mainsail and overlapping headsail give Sooty Tern the speed and personality to make every passage exciting.
