“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Exceptional Service – Highly Recommended I recently had my Yamaha outboard serviced by Around Town Marine and couldn’t be happier with the experience. From start to finish, the attention to detail and professionalism were outstanding. It’s clear that they take a lot of pride in their work and don’t cut corners. What really impressed me was how thorough and meticulous the service was, with everything completed strictly to Yamaha specifications. It’s reassuring knowing the motor has been looked after properly by someone who genuinely knows their craft. While on site, he also wired up a quick Anderson plug for my trailer, which was a huge help and saved me having to organise another tradesperson. Nothing seemed too much trouble, and the quality of the workmanship was excellent. It’s becoming harder to find marine technicians who are reliable, knowledgeable and genuinely care about doing the job right, but Around Town Marine certainly fits that description. I would have no hesitation recommending Around Town Marine to anyone looking for outboard servicing, marine electrical work or general boat maintenance. I’ll definitely be using them again in the future. Thanks again for the great service. 🚤👌”
Batemans Bay and the Clyde River form a classic NSW South Coast cruising region where a sheltered, tidal estuary meets a short, island‑dotted entrance to the Tasman Sea. It’s distinctive for easy access from Canberra, a mix of river and bay sailing, a compact marina and mooring network, and a river entrance (the Clyde River bar) that can change rapidly. The area suits day sails, weekend cruising, trailer‑boat exploration and sheltered coastal passages; offshore or long‑passage plans require careful timing and local knowledge. Warranties, returns and repairs for boating gear bought overseas depend on the seller’s terms, the manufacturer’s international support, and your rights under Australian consumer law — expect longer timeframes, extra cost for shipping and customs, and possible limits on local repairs. Always check the seller’s returns policy and the manufacturer’s warranty before buying.
