“The Remarkable 6. 4 Revival Fibreglass Offshore Boat It was a rather strong S-S-E wind, when I impressed on JV Marine’s Senior Sales and Technical Executive, Angelo San Giorgio, that the time is right for a demonstration of a very special boat that I had my eye on for a long time. He expressed hesitation and reluctance in his response to my assertion. The boat in front of me was the exciting Revival 6.4 meter off shore fibreglass craft designed and built by the legendary boat builder, Sam Catanese, founder of Revival Fibreglass Boats, based in Bayswater, Victoria. Angelo voiced his objection to take me out on a demo for concerns of adverse weather conditions. In response I enquired: “Are you scared of the conditions or is there something wrong with the boat’s heavy sea performance? ” Angelo, without uttering another word, proceeded to hitch the impressive Revival for a demo. Upon our arrival at the Patterson River Boat Ramp, I was pleasantly relived to see we had the entire ramp and car park to ourselves. In a smooth gliding fashion the Revival rolled off the Dunbier trailer with ease. Upon approaching the Patterson River Bar, we were confronted by two meter plus seas. I thought of Sam’s resonating Youtube statement “The rougher it is the better it is” to test the boat’s capabilities. In my mind I thought this was an ideal setting for exploring the Revival’s sea handling capabilities. As we approached seemingly mountainous seas, Mr. San Giorgio commented “The conditions are n”
