About
Skippered small-group sailing on Lake Macquarie aboard Spellcaster III, a 40ft Beneteau, with morning, sunset, team and romantic overnight experiences.
Service area: Lake Macquarie
Silver Sun Sailing runs skippered sailing on Lake Macquarie from Lake Macquarie Yacht Club at Belmont, about 25 minutes from Newcastle. Skipper Scott sails Spellcaster III, a 40ft Beneteau, and keeps groups small.
Scheduled experiences include a two-hour morning sail and a two-hour sunset cruise, bookable per person or for the whole boat, a 3.5-hour Crew Challenge for four to ten people, and an overnight Romantic Indulgence for couples. Skippered escapes and ceremonies are tailored on request, and multi-day trips are possible. Marina Luxe is a separate overnight stay aboard at the marina, without sailing, for up to six.
It suits couples, small celebrations and workplace groups wanting a relaxed sail on sheltered lake water. Most set experiences take up to eight guests, and custom trips are arranged through the contact form, so confirm the duration, inclusions and whether you'll actually be sailing when you enquire.
