“We purchased an Internet Radio WR-230SF-Q3065 mid December 24. Excellent sound, excellent quality. Missing from the world data base of FM radio stations was the main station we wanted. I rang Tecsun to enquire how to rectify.....a message was sent by staff member to the owner Gary. The next day I received a phone call from Gary ( he was on Christmas leave) he informed me that was an easy fix....he would send an email to have this particular FM station added to data base. A few days later he rang again informing me the station was now in the world data base. Talk about great service & dedication. This was from someone (owner) who was on Christmas holidays. “To start off with I'd like to thank all involved.. I purchased the brand new Tecsun S-2200x Shortwave Radio. I'm a bit disappointed regarding the shipping. The Radio cost $660 plus $30.78 shipping, thats $690.78 unfortunately the parcel was just left on my veranda no signature required. Fortunately i was home and I received a notification from Australia Post that it was delivered. Now the radio, I absolutely love the design, although it looks like the old model of many years. The audio sounds great with separate bass and treble. Has a bit of weight, there's quality in weight and yes it's good quality. The operation is okay a big con is the squelch, its terrible, it's just like another RF gain control it doesn't react like a real squelch should. The rotation antenna works extremely well but the radio was supplied with antenna adaptors (4) one is meant to be added for the rotation antenna for extra gain but the plug just pops out where the hole is there's a hump that hinders proper fixture.. overall I'm very happy with the radio and I still have lot to learn.. *** Added today 6th September. A huge thanks to Garry for his super quick response on the rotation antenna plug. Garry sent me 2 replacement adaptors that fit perfectly Via Express Post, Well done.***”
