“A tailor made local trailer - excellent job, took a while but worth the wait rather than get a cheaper Chinese one that may not last as long.”

“DANGER! Take your boat somewhere else. Rang early Dec 2023 and spoke to Roy for a general service on my 30hp. $1000 and week later it was done. Took it out for a test run and the motor felt like it was going to kick off the back of the boat. Rang Roy and he admitted he didn't test run it before returning it to me so I dropped it back. My first mistake. Turns out he damaged the flywheel in the repair. Fast forward to the end of Feb after countless messages and calls and no contact (i thought my boat was stolen) I finally get onto Roy. He's fixing my flywheel and waiting for a part it's due mid march so I waited two weeks. My 2nd mistake. After two weeks I call again and he states the part is another month away so I demand my boat back. Roy tells me I need to pay an invoice for another part (exciter coil) $215 for which I never agreed for and threatens that if I don't pay it my boat WOULD NEVER RUN AGAIN!!!. So I pay the $215 invoice and take it to a reputable marine mechanic. They sourced a 2nd hand flywheel (he tried to re glue the magnets back on which is a Dangerous idea) installed it and the motor needed a new Exciter coil as the original was bust. So Roy charged me for part. Never installed it. My boat was with Roy for over 3 months. $1215 invoiced. And it was returned in worse condition not running.”

“Needed a anode for mariner 25hp and Roy ordered, next day it was delivered. Seriously good service, now hopefully I'll be able to get a new motor next year. Thanks Denis”

“NOT RECOMMENDED. I called the shop explaining what service was required (standard motor service, replace steering cable, check bilge pump and that I wanted boat back for Xmas, advised ok, to bring the boat to the shop in 8 days (early December 2020). It was working fine (videos offshore from the week easier). After following up with theory response, mid January 2021 I was advised not looked at yet. After compression tests done I was told a $1500 part was required (electrical related). I delivered the part (cost $500), and since then no work done, lost count of the phone calls and texts, utterly speechless at the disgusting service. I cannot even get a text reply any longer. Utterly disappointed, first Xmas with a boat and a young family and it remains locked up in this shops storage area. 6 months and counting for a standard service, and damaged the motor along the way without an apology.”
