Definition
In Region A a starboard-hand mark is green with a conical buoy body, or a green cone topmark point up on pillar and spar bodies, and shows a green light of any rhythm apart from composite group flashing (2+1). In Region B the equivalent mark is red with a red light and red cone topmark. Numbering commonly runs upward from seaward, with even numbers on one side and odd on the other according to national practice.
