Definition
Admiralty Tide Tables give standard port predictions in the zone time stated at the head of the page, often UT for United Kingdom ports, with a note that one hour must be added during British Summer Time. Secondary port differences are applied in the standard port's zone before converting. Failing to add summer time is one of the commonest tidal errors and shifts every calculated time by a full hour.
