Tamar Yacht ClubLaunceston, TASTamar Yacht Club traces its founding to 1837, making it — by its own account — the oldest yacht club in the Southern Hemisphere. From its clubhouse and slipyard at Park Street in Launceston and its 100-berth marina and clubhouse at Beauty Point, it runs youth learn-to-sail, inshore, coastal and offshore racing, SailPass and motor boat licence training.
