About Charter 1
Charter 1 operates Capella, a 12.5-metre Schionning sailing catamaran based at Sardine Jetty in Fremantle. Scheduled trips include a full-day sail to Rottnest Island, a four-hour Carnac Island eco-tour and a two-hour Fremantle twilight sail, plus snorkel and sunset sails departing Rottnest.
Capella has an indoor saloon, a full galley and barbecue, four showers and two toilets, and carries snorkelling gear for all ages, stand-up paddleboards, kayaks and a water mat. A lowering forward ladder and rear swim platform make it easier for less mobile guests to get into the water.
It suits families, friends and workplaces looking for a relaxed island day, and private charters cover birthdays, corporate events, school excursions and Christmas functions. Snorkel and sailing tours run from November to April. Capella can't pick up from the Perth CBD or Hillarys, and overnight charters aren't currently offered.
