Perfect Nature Cruises departs Monkey Mia Jetty in the Shark Bay World Heritage Area aboard Aristocat 2, an 18-metre sailing catamaran. The morning marine life cruise looks for dugongs, dolphins, turtles and rays, and there's also a 1.5-hour sunset cruise, an afternoon cruise in WA school holidays and a four-hour Big Lagoon barbecue trip.
The operator says it's the only cruise company licensed to interact with marine mammals in the Monkey Mia reserve, and guides explain the Shark Bay ecosystem along the way. The crew sail when the wind allows and motor-sail otherwise, and the boat has indoor and outdoor seating and a licensed bar.
