At the eastern end of Shute Harbour Road, Shute Harbour Marine sits at the doorstep of the Whitsunday Islands. It is a naturally dramatic place to arrive, with forested hills behind the harbour and a sweep of island waters waiting beyond.
The marina provides a practical point of departure and return for cruising yachts, private boats and Whitsundays adventurers. Its sheltered harbour setting makes it a valuable base for preparing a voyage, meeting guests or simply taking in the view.
From Shute Harbour, the Whitsundays unfold in every direction: secluded anchorages, white-sand beaches, island resorts and clear blue passages. It is one of Queensland’s great boating gateways.

Pick a ramp that matches your boat size and trailer setup, has safe approach and exit conditions (depth, slope, surface), good onshore parking and flow, and follow simple ramp etiquette: queue, help others, rig off the trailer when clear, and secure your vessel quickly.
