NAVatHOME Australia is a Como, WA-based online school offering self-paced RYA shore-based navigation theory, from Essential Navigation through to Yachtmaster Ocean.

NAVatHOME Australia is an online navigation school based in Como, Western Australia. Working with NAVatHOME.com, it has offered online RYA shore-based courses since 2010, with material adapted for sailing in the Southern Hemisphere, and its site shows the RYA Training Centre logo against its RYA courses.
All courses are studied online at your own pace, so students can train from anywhere in Australia or overseas. The RYA theory pathway runs from Essential Navigation and Seamanship through Day Skipper and Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Offshore to Yachtmaster Ocean, with a FastTrack option to Yachtmaster Offshore. The school also offers the RYA CEVNI test and PPR course, its own Fundamental Navigation and diesel engine courses, and a VHF radio operator course.
The courses suit sailors preparing for RYA practical courses or an ICC, and anyone building navigation knowledge around work or cruising. Everything is theory only, so pair it with on-water training at a practical school, and check how final assessments are run before enrolling.
