Sail Ningaloo runs small-group live-aboard sailing tours on Ningaloo Reef from Coral Bay. Shared departures run for three, five, seven or eight nights, and the whole boat can be booked as a private charter for a minimum of three nights.
Guests sail aboard Shore Thing, a purpose-built 51-foot catamaran designed by Roger Hill, with four guest cabins each with its own bathroom. Co-founders Luke and Lannie Riley began live-aboard sailing tours in Coral Bay in 2010. Meals, snorkelling gear, wetsuits and dive tanks are included, and trips follow the whale shark and humpback whale seasons.
The tours suit snorkellers, certified divers and wildlife lovers who want several days on the reef rather than a day trip. Children aged seven and over can join shared departures, with younger children welcome on private charters. Divers need Open Water certification and at least one logged dive in the past 12 months.
