Definition
Admiralty Chart 5011 is published as a book rather than a chart and reproduces the international INT 1 symbol set agreed through the IHO. Sections are lettered: A covers chart layout, B positions and distances, C to G topography and seabed, I tides and currents, J to L depths and rocks, M to Q services, buoys and lights, and R to T are supplementary. Germany, the USA and others publish equivalents; the symbols are largely common.
