Definition
The chart number appears in each corner, with the edition date and any new edition date printed in the bottom margin. Small corrections applied through Notices to Mariners are added to the bottom left margin as year and notice number, for example 2024-1136. A chart is only as safe as its corrections, so compare the last entry with the current cumulative list before departure. Withdrawn or superseded charts should be marked and removed from the working folio.
